Description
Purpose:
The Senior Civil & Structural Engineer is responsible for delivering technical solutions across a range of projects and technical areas, and for guiding and checking the technical solutions of more junior Engineers as necessary, on time and budget, and in accordance with all relevant Engineering and Company procedures.
The Senior Civil & Structural Engineer will be pro-active in determining the optimum technical solution for each project they are working on, and in identifying improvements which might offer advantages in terms of time, cost or safety, thereby allowing the Company to deliver work more effectively.
The Senior Civil & Structural Engineer will be familiar with current practice and developments in their technical area, and will as necessary bring any new technology, innovation or relevant changes in legislation to the attention of the Company. The Senior Civil & Structural Engineer will also support the ongoing development of the policies and procedures of the Company and will identify any new tools, software or processes that could increase the efficiency of the Company’s technical delivery processes.
The Senior Civil & Structural Engineer will demonstrate full understanding of and adherence to all relevant Engineering Procedures, Policies and Standards, and their practical application.

Knowledge, Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
- The Senior Civil and Structural Engineer is required to have a formal UK qualification in Civil and Structural Engineering
- Degree or master's degree in a related field
- Experience in a Senior role Civil and Structural Engineering role
