Description

Purpose 

The Senior Control & Instrumentation Engineer is responsible for delivering technical solutions across a range of projects and technical areas, and for guiding and checking the technical solutions of more junior Engineers as necessary, on time and budget, and in accordance with all relevant Engineering and Company procedures.

The Senior Control & Instrumentation Engineer will be pro-active in determining the optimum technical solution for each project they are working on, and in identifying improvements which might offer advantages in terms of time, cost, or safety, thereby allowing the Company to deliver work more effectively.

Commercial & Risk

  • Inform project manager / line manager of potential risks identified in a timely manner

  • Work to agreed plans, using initiative to identify improvements/savings
  • Function as an ambassador for the Company, always presenting the right image to existing and potential clients
  • To attend meetings and forums, representing the Company
  • Forge links and establish communication with relevant colleagues and other stakeholders

  • Inform line/project manager of potential project risks identified in a timely manner
  • Working within the Company’s ISO9001:2008 quality systems

Technical Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, Experience & Qualifications

  • The Senior Control & Instrumentation Engineer is required to have a minimum of a degree or master's degree in a related field
  • Considerable experience in a Senior C&I Engineering role role
